Objective: To develop a modern and functional online store based on CMS WordPress for the company Purmed, create a convenient platform for customers where they can easily find the right products, add them to the basket, choose a convenient delivery method and pay for the order online.

The Home page Development

On the main page, the first screen has a large banner that informs about current promotions, special offers and new products. Further down the page, there is a block with popular product categories. This helps users quickly navigate to the most popular sections of the catalog, such as Disposables, Prosthetics, Dental Hygiene and others.

The home page also contains a recommended products block, which includes the most popular or new products.

In the middle of the page, there is a Product Sale block and a description of the company’s main advantages to show potential customers the reliability of cooperation with the online store.

The catalog and filtering implementation on the website

Purmed has developed an expanded catalog on its website that covers a wide range of dental products and equipment.
The catalog is structured by category, allowing users to easily find the products they need.
Each category contains subcategories, such as tools, materials, equipment and other specialized products, making it easy to navigate for users with different needs.
The catalog also includes Promotions and New Products sections to attract the user’s attention.

Product Page Development

Each product in the catalog has a detailed description, including technical specifications, manufacturer information, product images and other important information. This allows customers to make an informed choice without leaving the product page. We also have a block on the product pages where we use infographics to show the possibilities of free delivery, promotions and company benefits.

Filtering functions in the product catalog:

To simplify the search process and make it as efficient as possible, a filtering system was introduced on the website.
Users can filter products by various parameters, such as: sorting by popularity, by price, by rating and others

The filtering works in real time, so the results are updated instantly without the need to reload the page. This makes the search process as fast and convenient as possible for users, allowing them to quickly find the right products among a large assortment.

The introduction of a comprehensive catalog and effective filtering options on Purmed’s website ensures users can easily access essential information, greatly enhancing their overall experience.

Developing a shopping basket and checkout

The online store has been designed with an intuitive interface that allows users to quickly find the products they need through easy navigation and search. Each product has a detailed description, photo and the option to add it to the basket. The shopping cart provides the function of editing the order before checkout, which allows you to change the number of products or remove unnecessary items.
To enhance customer convenience, we implemented an online payment system that supports multiple methods, including credit and debit cards. This allows for secure, quick transactions without users needing to leave the website.

There are several delivery options to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to meet the different customers needs in different countries. Customers can choose the delivery method that suits them best, including in-store pickup, courier delivery, delivery to a DPD pickup point or by DPD courier, and free delivery in Riga.

Call-to-action buttons, website forms and clickable communication elements

To actively engage customers and highlight key actions on the website, we have implemented the following call-to-action buttons:

  • Product catalog: on the main page and in the drop-down menu for easy selection of product categories.
  • Active contact options in the header include clickable links for direct access to messaging platforms like WhatsApp, as well as email and a clickable phone number for quick calls.
  • Social media icons: Facebook and Instagram icons added to the header of the website.

The website menu was fixed on scrolling for the user’s convenience. This way, all contact details are always visible.

Results:

Purmed’s website has evolved into an essential resource for dentists and healthcare facilities seeking quality dental products and equipment. The addition of online payment options and diverse delivery methods has greatly enhanced usability and boosted the number of successful transactions.
